“D8A” dystopian assistent interface

We are increasingly handing our privacy into the hands of digital media.
But what happens to our data while we surf in the Internet?
Which privacy risks do we blindly accept in order to achieve digital freedom?

Welcome to D8A— your personal, intelligent assistant, which is supposed to make your everyday life easier. With various common tools it takes care of your safety
when you are on the Internet.

The other side of D8A shows you what is really going on behind your back.
Companies track you with these tools, use face recognition, collect
and sell your personal data using tricks to make you part of a mult-billion dollar business.

Everyday we sink deeper and deeper into the digital life and D8A is always arround.
It knows what happens in your head better than you: which videos you like, your buying behavior or your evening plans. Because of its cute appearance and positive effects on your lifestyle, dark intentions of the assistent are inconspicuous to you.

Besides

Before we found our main focus of this project,
we tried different posters designes and animations.
